For Special Parents

If you're the parent of a special child with autism, you've found the safe haven you've been looking for. We want to help you cope with whatever is thrown your way -- whether it’s negotiating with a school district, evaluating intervention methods, or just dealing with the diagnosis of autism on an emotional and spiritual level. We have an info sheet in the article index titled, "Explaining Autism." You can customize and print it to help others understand how autism affects your child and how they can respond.

If you're a church leader wanting to serve special families or know more about autism, you've come to the right place, too! As a ministry couple blessed with an autistic child, we want to share our insight into the world of autism with you. We've served in several small churches; and we know from experience that any church, big or small, can accommodate those with autism and special needs.

Our primary focus is coping with autism from a Christian worldview, but anyone with a special need child or a special needs ministry is welcome. We have so much in common!
